LoudounGo has no accounts and no logins. We collect very little: your email address if you sign up for the newsletter, and the details you choose to give us when you submit an event or send us a message.

Like most websites, we also keep routine technical records — which pages were viewed, roughly where visitors are located, and what kind of device was used. None of this identifies you by name.

The signup box on the site asks for an email address and nothing else. That address is stored in our email platform and used to send the weekly guide and occasional announcements about LoudounGo.

We never sell or rent email addresses. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

Our email platform reports how many people opened an email or clicked a link. We use those totals to decide what to write about, and we don’t use them to single anyone out.

When you submit an event or send a business or advertising enquiry, we receive whatever you type — typically a name, an email address and the details of your event or question.

We use those details to review and publish listings, to reply to you, and to keep a record of what was asked. Enquiries are sent to hello@loudoungo.com and read by the LoudounGo team.

Event details you submit may be published on the site as part of a listing. If you want a listing corrected or removed, email us and we’ll take care of it.

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and guides people read, and a Meta pixel to measure how well our posts bring visitors to the site. Both use cookies or similar identifiers.

These tools see pages viewed, approximate location and device type — not your name, address or email. You can block them any time in your browser settings, and the site keeps working.

LoudounGo is written for parents, not for children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the site has no accounts, profiles or chat.

If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we’ll delete it.

We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it beyond the small set of services that run LoudounGo: our email platform for the newsletter, Google Analytics and Meta for audience counts, and our hosting provider.

We’ll only disclose information further if the law requires it.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in any email. You can ask us to correct or delete anything you sent us, or stop using analytics cookies through your browser.

We update this page when how we handle information changes, and the latest version always lives here. Significant changes will be flagged in the newsletter.
